Effective Networking: Why, How, and for What?
To increase the knowledge of COSEE Network members about effective practices in networking, how they are formed, how success can be measured, and why networks are effective, creating an increased understanding and interest in network science and an increased capacity of individuals and centers to operate from a network perspective. A baseline knowledge of effective networking practices to inform the following COSEE Network Meeting sessions.

Future Directions for Formal and Informal Science Education
To form and enhance strategic connections between COSEE and initiatives in STEM formal and informal education, creating a new perspective on the role of ocean education within STEM learning in formal and informal learning. Ultimately, we would like to see a set of prioritized recommendations to increase the prominence of Ocean Science Education.
